It’s my party…

Greetings one, greetings all. The cats of Hot Tin Roof are rather dazed this morning after celebrating our sixth birthday last night. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who managed to attend.

Being six we weren’t up for throwing a lavish champagne-flowing soirée, no, we went for a children’s party theme with party nibbles including party rings, French fancies, top hats and sausage rolls. Pass the parcel and pin the tail on the donkey were unfortunately overlooked due to excessive socialising and responsible alcohol consumption.

We welcomed a warm selection of the cream of Edinburgh to our uniquely clean and organised office (for one night only!) to celebrate with us. The first person we have to talk about is Craig from SalesGap, who loves our blog and was determined to get mentioned in today’s entry. Craig always gets a result.

We were delighted to finally meet journalist Jonathan Trew, and wished him ‘Bon Voyage’ for his upcoming trip to Sea Life Surveys.

Our lovely clients came out in force including Andrew from Lynchpin, Drew from Oscar and Fitch, Pam and Graham from Pam Jenkins and the Ambergreen crew.

Other familiar faces include Richard O’Connor, Lisa and Blair, Tina from Edomidas, Colin from If Looks Could Killand Jonathan (soon to be Civic, but also a fine film blogger).

And maybe, we even taught Jackie from Calder Events a few tips on how to put on a fabulous party – or maybe not, her events are awesome!

We got slightly nervous when a couple of former bosses Fancy Nancy and Mandy from MHL Corporate turned up, but luckily they approved of everything.

Also treading the red carpet was Caroline Phipps, Jamie from Coriolis, Adrian and Tamsin from Mighty Small, Karen from Axcelerate, Michael from Edinburgh-Stanford link and Lorna from Graduates for Growth.

What’s a party without some old friends too? Great to see Gill from The Edinburgh Printmakers, Donna and Ian, and Julia.

Last but certainly not least, new cat Susie was shown off to everyone plus Gemma and Kelsie from Morris and Steedman Associates made the long trip downstairs.

Phew…….hope that’s everyone.

Warm congratulations to our Director for taking the company to the fantastic heights we currently sit, and long may HTR continue!
